Gang-Dong POLY Campus is newly established with enthusiasm to provide the safest environment where our children can love themselves and freely speak about themselves in full confidence. Beyond mastering academic disciplines, Gang-Dong POLY students are taught to respect all people and things, to be honest with themselves and others put forth the maximum effort, and seek ways to support their trusty friendship.
Programs
The POLY curriculum is designed to evenly develop the 4 Cs, which are counted as the competencies of future leaders. The 4 C's are Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration. Cultivating confident students, POLY aims to develop confident bilinguals with the essential competencies of future leaders.
1. The Kindergarten Program focuses on building the foundations of English learning in students. The ESL courses taught in this level cover topics such as: phonics, vocabulary, listening, and basic speaking, writing and reading.
2. The Elementary Program teaches students the four skills of English and focuses on conversation. Children at this age, are encouraged to use only English in the classroom. Students are taught a variety of topics such as: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, essay writing, and current events.
Location Description

The climate of Seoul is considered both humid subtropical and humid continental. Summers are hot and humid and the East Asian monsoon has a strong impact on Seoul's weather from June to July. Winters are usually cold and dry, although the city gets an average of 28 days of snow per year. The average January low temperature for Seoul is 21 degrees F (-6 degrees C) and the average August high temperature is 85 degrees F (29.5 degrees C).
Gangdong-gu is home to 460,000 people and is located in southeastern Seoul, bordering both Songpa-gu and Gwangjin-gu to the west. Gangdong-gu is home to 25 elementary schools, 17 junior high schools and 12 senior high schools, including a specialized high school and a special education school. Lines 5, 5 Macheon, and 8 make Gangdong-gu a very accessible district along with numerous bus routes.
