American owned 3.0+housing Dongtan (Near Seoul) 9:00-4:20

I'm the owner of a kindy/elementary hagwon located in Dongtan 2. It's less than an hour bus ride to Seoul. I'm looking for an experienced and motivated teacher to start September 1st, 2025. Working hours are 9:00-4:20. Salary- 2.5-3.0 (depending on experience) housing is just a 5 minute walk up the street. My ideal candidate should be a passionate teacher with positive energy. Kids should love having class with you. At DNA we provide you with all the teaching materials necessary: books, large classrooms, large tv, interactive whiteboard materials, teacher resources… But those materials are just the “bones.” It’s up to the teacher to put meat on those bones to create fulfilling and engaging lessons for their students. Therefore, my ideal candidate needs to have the confidence and ability to take ownership of their class. DNA is an academy that focuses on CLT. Communicative Language Teaching. Rather than focusing on rote memorization of vocabulary words, at DNA we teach children target language that they’ll actually use. It’s important to have fun at DNA. Playing board/card games, doing art and science experiments, playing and dancing in our big gym is strongly encouraged. Classes should be fun. At DNA, we strive to not only develop a child’s academic ability, but also their creative, social, behavioral, and emotional self as well. We have a growth mindset here at DNA. Students with a growth mindset are able to understand and celebrate the importance of problem solving, perseverance and learning from their mistakes. My ideal candidate should understand the values of having a growth mindset and help create an environment where everyone is constantly improving. We have monthly special events whether they’re a performance or a holiday party. These events are very important because our goal is to create lifetime memories for the children. If you’re a person that enjoys planning such events, that’s a plus! REQUIREMENTS: Native English speakers only Must be able to provide documents to be cleared for teaching by the Department of Education in South Korea WORKING CONDITIONS & BENEFITS: Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) Working Hours: 9:00-4:20 Monthly Salary: Starting 2.5-3.0 million plus housing (There should be opportunities to increase your salary through curriculum development or taking on an extra class) Other benefits include: severance pay, pension, and national health insurance. We have a push button espresso machine for you coffee drinkers. Lunch is provided and you don't have to eat with the kids. All National holidays off. Plus 1 week in the summer and one in the winter. 11 days total. (This year we're taking the week off during Chuseok) I will happily put you in contact with our current teachers as well, so you can hear their perspective of the DNA working environment.
