PART-TIME NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER (Elementary) Starting September 2026 ABOUT BKOM ACADEMY BKOM Academy is a boutique English academy with a kindergarten program in Bundang (just steps from Jeongja Station) and an elementary campus in Daechi, Gangnam. We are currently seeking a part-time Native English Teacher to join our Jeongja campus beginning in September 2026. Our native English teachers teach two to three elementary after-school classes each day. We specialize in teaching high-achieving students, and our classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of eight students per class. JOB DESCRIPTION Elementary Program Teach 2–3 elementary after-school English classes per day Tue & Thu: 2:20–5:00 PM Mon, Wed & Fri: 3:15–5:55 PM Maximum of 8 students per class (typically fewer) Teaching hours vary depending on the day Minimal lesson preparation required – all textbooks and teaching materials are provided Review homework and administer or grade short quizzes during class Assign and upload homework after each class Prepare a short vocabulary quiz approximately once per week Prepare assessment tests every two months Enter grades and write report card comments for assigned classes TRAINING Classroom observation and training before the start date REQUIREMENTS Native English speaker (Korean-American/Overseas Korean preferred) Minimum 2 years of formal teaching experience in a school or academy Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university Apostilled criminal background check, apostilled diploma, and all other documents required for visa processing and registration with the Korean Ministry of Education Outgoing, enthusiastic, patient, and caring Professional, flexible, and well-organized with strong time-management skills LOCATION BKOM Academy – Bundang Campus 10F, Jelzone Tower 1 16 Neuti-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea Just a 2-minute walk from Jeongja Station (Exit 5) Only 20 minutes to Gangnam Station via the Shinbundang Line Map: https://naver.me/G0fpf8GX WORK ENVIRONMENT & PERKS Relaxed and supportive work environment with minimal micromanagement Freedom to go outside during breaks Supportive management that values communication and feedback Friendly and collaborative teaching team Small classes of motivated, high-achieving, and well-behaved students Strong academic standards with individualized support Minimal lesson preparation required Leave work on time with little to no take-home work No weekly parent comments, messaging, or consultation required SALARY ₩40,000–₩45,000 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
