RIS Kids Academy’s goal is to ensure that all students are actively involved in their education and learn in new and innovative ways. With a small student-to-teacher ratio, our teaching staff works closely with each student to fulfill their educational needs. Our Programs
Our students work on a variety of skills through both hands-on activities and pencil-paper tasks. The skills taught in preschool are: social and language skills development through play and group work.
The subjects taught in Kindergarten are: Language arts, math, and science with a focus on language arts.

1. Roles and Responsibilities As a kindergarten homeroom teacher at RIS, you’ll be teaching students aged 4 to 7. Our students learn English through fun games, role-playing, and picture books. RIS Kids Academy aims to prepare students to thrive and succeed as caring citizens in a changing world by providing quality education and a supportive, secure environment in partnership with the community. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students • Make stories come alive through storybook reading time • Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Grade simple homework and write semester report cards using our easy online software • Work with your co-teacher to prepare fun lessons 2. Candidate Qualifications: Foreigners (E-2, F-2, F-5, F-6 Visa Holders) • Must be citizens of the following countries: U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa. • Candidates must be in Korea • Must have all required documents (apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university. • A clean self-medical health check • Teaching experience or TEFL/TESOL preferred 3. Working Conditions • Working Hours: M-F 8:45-5:30 • Teaching Hours: 9:00-4:15
