PHYSICS AND MATH TEACHERS - NEWTON ACADEMY

Math and Physics Teachers in Gangnam Newton Talented Youth Academy is a newly opened International Educational Institute with a campus in Gangnam, specifically the Nonhyeon-dong area. Newton follows American curriculum and is a college preparatory program, expected to have around 100 students at the start of the next academic year. We are seeking qualified candidates for MATH and PHYSICS to start in August 2024. This is a full-time position which requires around 20-25 classes per week. Minimum Qualifications: A demonstrated commitment to, and experience with Math or Physics instruction Ability to work well with students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff Relevant Bachelor’s Degree Must be capable of teaching AP level math subjects in either math or physics: AP Calculus, AP Statistics AP Physics 1/2 or AP Physics C Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in relevant field Experience with incorporating technology in the classroom Teaching license Additional details include: Starting salary 3.75 - 5.5M Korean Won/month Position will start in mid-August This is a full-time position: up to 25 hours/week teaching maximum + some additional duties (will discuss) Work day is from roughly 8:00AM-4:30PM Can consider applicants with the following citizenship: USA, Korea, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand.
