Curriculum/Programs
CHESS and ACE programs of Jeongsang Language School are immersive English conducted 100% in English.
If you build up your skills in immersive English, children will be able to create high-quality learning outputs on their own.
     
The Chess program is geared towards Elementary school students in grades 1-6. 
It allows students to freely speak and express themselves in English.
The ACE program is an integrated curriculum and focuses on test preparation alongside English Immersion for students from Elementary grade 6 to Middle school grade 2. The V-Group Program is a program geared towards students in Middle school grade 3 to High School grade 3. The goal of this program is grade management and college entrance exam preparation.

1. Role and Responsibilities As an English subject teacher, you will help the students prepare for exams and create a comforting learning environment. You will be responsible for the following: •Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. • Offer support and flexibility as needed. • Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process. • Participate in professional development activities that are aligned with the assigned curriculum and the varied needs of students •Grade homework and give feedback 2. Roles and Responsibilities JLS is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as an English teacher for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school age students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient and work well with young children, some of whom are just beginning to learn English. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach a variety of ESL classes to elementary and middle school students • Create a fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards each semester on student progress • Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars Candidate Qualifications: • Be eligible for an E-2 visa or have an F-visa. • Have an apostilled CBC and diploma ready. • Have a clean self-medical health check. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Working Hours: 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
