Roles and Responsibilities At Hillside Collegiate, we are teaching the skills needed for students to study abroad. Our curriculum, supported by innovative teaching techniques, modern resources and engaging programs, is designed to engage each student individually and prepare them for bright futures ahead. Hillside Collegiate would like to work with you. Hillside Collegiate is looking for candidates who have passion and are serious about teaching. As our students are at more advanced English levels, those who have teaching experience would do well at our school. You will be responsible for the following: • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons • Prepare teaching materials ahead of time • Grade regular homework assignments • Prepare and create tests and examinations • You will be teaching kindergarten classes in the morning with one elementary class in the afternoon a day. • Teaching subjects include language arts, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Candidate Qualifications: • Be eligible for an E-2 visa or have an F-visa. • Have an apostilled CBC and diploma ready. • Have a clean self-medical health check. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Working Hours: 9:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. (M-F) • Teaching Hours: 25 hours per week • Class Size: 12 students per class (max) • Class Time: 30 minutes (kinder), 50 minutes (elementary) • Class Size: 18 students (3 classes) for Kinder, 50 students (11 classes) for Elementary
