About Us

 

DOCS Edu is a premium language school specializing in kindergarten, elementary, and secondary schools, and it conducts 100% English classes based on systematic and diverse curriculums. "DOCS" is an abbreviation of "Doctors" and was established in 2009 to foster global talent who can freely discuss and write English, which stands for "Debating open composition skillfully".

 

DOCS Edu's students fair well on TOEFL and other external tests because; One, after years of research at the DOCS Edu lab, we provide a self-learning and educational environment where children can learn English as naturally and pleasantly as their mother tongue without any stress. Two, the ability to use a good curriculum and teaching method 100% begins with the teacher's ability. Our teachers lead students with excellent skills to find the most appropriate balance between play and learning in consideration of children's emotional and cognitive abilities.

 

Our Programs

 

Native speakers and bilinguals are in charge of 50%, of a class consisting of 8 to 12 students. Our Kindergarten program covers Conversation, Language Art, Show & Tell, Storybook Reading, Phonics, and Writing, which is an interest-oriented curriculum. Elementary and Middle schools programs focuses on test preparation through English discussions, essays, and TOEFL based on the four major areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Afternoon Teacher Wanted for Docs Academy Dongdaemun, Seoul / Sep. 2023

1. Role and responsibilities You will be responsible for; • Teach English to Elementary and Middle level students storytelling, phonics, speaking, reading, listening, writing, and conversational English. • Create fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Attend to other duties as a teacher. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary and Middle • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Teaching Hours: 22 hours a week • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. • Class Time: 40 - 45 minutes per class • Class Size: 10-12 students per class • Teacher Training: 1 ~ 2 weeks of training provided (Arrive in Korea around Aug. 21st, 2023) • Teaching Staff: 12 Native English Teachers
