• Grade Levels: 9th to 12th Grade

• Subjects:

  • AP Chemistry

  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics

  • Environmental Science

  • Integrated Science III

  • SAT Math

• Teaching Load: 4 hours of teaching per day (20 hours per week)

• Contract Term: Annual Contract Renewal

Working Hours & Schedule

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

• Monday & Wednesday: Period 1  Integrated Science III, Period 2- No class, Period 3  Physics, Period 4- Chemistry

• Tuesday & Friday: Period 1-  AP Chemistry, Period 2- No class, Period 3-  Environmental Science, Period 4- Biology

• Thursday: Period 1- No class, Period 2- PSAT Math, No Period 3&4 due to Student Clubs 

• No Extra Duties:  NO after-school duties

• No Camp Duties: NO Winter or Summer camp responsibilities

• Vacation: Fully paid winter and summer vacations (for renewing contacts)

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction of the listed subjects for high school students.

• Curriculum development and student assessment.

• Science Fair: Organize the annual Science Fair once a year in collaboration with the Middle School Science Teacher.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant Science field or Education.

• Teaching license or certification is preferred.

• Ability to teach AP Chemistry is essential.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
