Job Description

 

Maple Bear's education focuses on developing students into global leaders prepared for the world stage. Maple Bear educates students to be independent, creative, curious, and confident in the learning process. In addition, we are developing talents with analytical and flexible thinking.

 

MapleBear has its own curriculum but also has flexibility for creativity and improvement. We do have books but those are all to be done by the end of the year while we also provide our teachers with a potential pacing guide if they need it.

 

Our teachers are creative, enthusiastic, and caring educators of young children. You will prepare lesson plans, create reports and evaluations, grade student assignments, and maintain teaching materials.

 

Responsibilities Overview

 

• Create fun and engaging supplementary activities to make class more interactive and enjoyable for students.

• Co-teach basic English skills through various topics such as English, math, science, and art.

• Grade student assignments and give feedback.

• Meet learning goals and track student improvement through periodic student assessments.

• Attend staff meetings as well as participate in training workshops.

 

Requirements

 

• Native English Speaker

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship

• F-visa holders

• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check

• Must be physically and mentally healthy.

• Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary

• Working Hours: Mon. Wed. Fri., 9:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M., Tues. Thurs., 9:00 A.M. - 5:20 P.M.

• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plan provided. 
• Teacher Training: Provided

Salary

From 2.4 million KRW monthly and up(negotiable)
