About Us

We provide a quality English education to our students.  We have a variety of programs that all share the same vision of giving students an advantage and training them to become future leaders.

 

At JLS, we promise honesty and respect to all of our teachers.  Our native English teachers and bilingual teachers work together to help our students learn effectively and improve their English skills.

 

We currently have 3 native English-speaking teachers working at our academy.

 

Programs

 

CHESS and ACE programs of Jeongsang Language School are immersive English conducted 100% in English.

 

If you build up your skills in immersive English, children will be able to create high-quality learning outputs on their own.

 

Chess Program: 
The Chess program is geared toward Elementary school students in grades 1-6. It allows students to freely speak and express themselves in English.

 

Ace Program:
The ACE program is an integrated curriculum and focuses on test preparation alongside English Immersion for students from Elementary grade 6 to Middle School grade 2.

 

Location Description

 

Goyang is located north of Seoul and is easily accessed through subway line number 3, Gyeongui Line(Railroad), and KTX.  It is one of the largest cities in the Seoul Capital Area, with a population of just over 1 million. Goyang has been known as a commuter town (satellite city) for decades since one of its districts, Ilsan, was developed in order to alleviate housing shortages in Seoul. Ilsan has experienced phenomenal growth in the past 15 years, usually drawing in younger generations of upper-middle-class and upper-class Koreans.

 

Goyang is famous for the Korean International Exhibition Center, or KINTEX, the largest MICE venue in Korea where various exhibitions and conferences are held every year. Ilsan Lake Park is where the Goyang Lake Art Festival and Goyang International Flower Festival are held. The city is also home to the Korean Basketball League's Goyang Orions, which plays its home games at Goyang Gymnasium.
