Segero can be divided into 2. A kindergarten language institution and an International school for elementary students. We have about 350 students in our school. Our campus has 5 buildings, 1 cafe, and a park in the middle,

 

At Segero, we teach students to dream, imagine, and believe. While most of the education in Korea focuses on a cram system of education, our programs are centered on helping students reach their full potential by learning through interaction and creative activities.


Our mission is to help students reach their full potential and become critical thinkers of their generation. Our teachers help students learn through empathy and love and we work with parents to raise their children to be global leaders of the future.


Our Programs

 

Our kindergarten program covers phonics, simple English sentences and phrases, singing, and dancing, and lessons are based on special themes that change monthly. Students also take part in fun events year-round such as crazy hair day, sports day, and twin day.

 

The elementary program helps students learn English through English immersion. Classes cover subjects including reading, art, science, PE, and the U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) English. Students may also choose to take elective classes such as Taekwondo, music, and the Chinese language.

Location Description

 

Our school is located in Busan where you will have access to beaches, islands, streams, and mountains in the area. You can also check out restaurants and themed cafés. Just a few minutes away is Myeongji International New City which is a new development in Busan and features a huge mall, Starfield City, and a breathtaking view of the ocean from ‘Star Garden.’


Hop on a bus from Segero and check out Gadeok-do Island (just 20 minutes away!) where you can get a great view of the ocean and Busan from Yeondaebong Mountain. Just an island over from Gadeok-do, you can check out Korea's second-largest island, Geoje, which offers a lot of beaches and natural parks.

 

 

Busan is South Korea's second-most populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.4 million. The full metropolitan area has a population of approximately 8 million. The Nakdong is Korea's longest river and Busan's Haeundae Beach is also the country's largest.

 

Busan is a center for sports tournaments in Korea, having hosted the 2002 Asian Games and FIFA World Cup. It is home to the world's largest department store, the Shinsegae Centum City. Busan was added to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a "City of Film" in December 2014.

 

Gangseo-gu on the west side of Nakdong River in Busan. It has an area of 179.05 km², and a population of about 66,000. Gangseo-gu is the westernmost gu in Busan and it shares a  border with Gimhae on its north-west side and Jinhae-gu, Changwon on its south-west side. Gimhae International Airport, Heungguk Temple, Myeongwol Temple, as well as the Eulsukdo bird sanctuary are located in Gangseo-gu.

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students and teach ESL elementary classes in the afternoon. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Create fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Grade basic homework assignments • Write up report cards each semester on student progress • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the school • Actively engage students in the learning process • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group 2. Candidate Qualifications • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3.
