Redwood International Education Center, in partnership with the University of Nebraska High School (UNHS), provides the ideal and necessary education for students seeking post-secondary education abroad.  Through   the highly developed and rigorous independent study program of UNHS and the coaching and instruction of experienced teachers, Redwood International Education Center helps students excel academically, earn their American high school diploma, and gain entrance into elite universities around the world.

 

Our Programs
In our Elementary program students are encouraged to use their creativity skills and are provided with guided visual excercises along with total physical response activities.  

In our Middle school program students are given the material and insturction needed to prepare for their high school entrance exams.   

In our High school program, students prepare to enter higher education both in Korea and abroad. Through PSAT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, and debate, we help students prepare for univeristy.

Branch and Location
Redwood International is located in the city of Yongin in Gyeonggi province. The city is well-known for having a variety of parks where you can enjoy outdoor activities. There is also the famous cafe street near Jeongja station which is not far from campus where you can explore different types of cafes and coffee shops all with unique themes. Yongin is also home to Everland and Caribbean Bay, a popular theme park and water park in Korea respectively.

Roles and Responsibilities You will be responsible for the following: •Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening •Guide students through crafts, activities, visualization, and total physical response activities •Teach elementary subjects through textbooks such as Super Minds, Oxford Readers, and Subject Link •Teach middle school students through textbooks including English Link, English for Science and Social Studies, and basic grammar •Teach students critical thinking and logic skills •Provide progress reports for parents 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided • Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday Friday, 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Thursday 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 30 classes per week • Class Time: 45 minutes per class • Class Size: 10 students per class • Lunch Hour: 12:00 P.M.-12:50 P.M. • Teacher Training: Provided • Teaching Staff: 3 Native English Teachers
