At Mount Pisgah, we provide academic support to students from Pre-K to grade 6.  Our mission is to eduacate each child in light of their individual and developmental needs, so they will not only become a life-long learner, but also make a positive contribution to the society.  We provide immersion-type English courses and seek to help children learn the English language naturally.

 

Our Programs
The Preschool program seeks to build an English vocabulary in students and formulate the basis of listening and speaking through phonics and basic vocabulary phrases.
The Kindergarten program covers subjects like expanded vocabulary, systematic reading, basic sentences, speaking, writing, and basic grammar.
The Elementary program covers subjects such as sentence structure, storytelling, discussion, reading and reading comprehension, topic writing, debate, and self-directed learning.

Branch and Location
Mount Pisgah is located in the city of Seongnam in Gyeonggi province. The city is well-known for having a variety of parks where you can enjoy outdoor activities.  There is also the famous cafe street near Jeongja station which is only a few minutes away from campus where you can explore different types of cafes with unique themes.  If you enjoy sports, the city is also home to K League's football club, Seongnam FC.

Mount Pisgah Bundang in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi-do / Mar. 2024

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students and teach a few elementary classes in the afternoon. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students • Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Tues., & Thurs., 9:00 A.M. - 6:40 P.M., Mon., Wed., & Fri., 9:00 A.M. - 4:50 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 25-28 classes per week • Class Time: 30 minutes per class (Kindergarten), 50 minutes per class (Elementary) • Class Size: 12 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided • Teaching Staff: 7 Native English Teachers, 10 Korean Teachers
