Curriculum/Program

 

SLP curriculum is for 5 to 13 years old students. Our curriculum is subdivided according to grades, levels, and long-term learning goals. We operate a curriculum that utilizes carefully selected external textbooks based on programs developed by ourselves.

 

SLP education not only improves English skills, we reach high-level thinking skills through English.  We offer two different learning tracks to accomplish our goals.  

 

 

Intensive Track: For self-directed learning process

 

AJ (Apple Juice)


The program is for children of age 5-7 years old, who are new to English. They will learn English more naturally, joyfully, and systematically by developing the foundations for listening, speaking, reading, writing, and creative thinking.


EIP (Elementary Intensive Program)


The program is an elementary intensive course for students ages 8-13 to learn the foundations of critical thinking, integrated communication, and self-directed learning abilities through content-oriented learning in humanities, science, culture, etc.


JIP (Junior Intensive Program)


The program is an intensive course for upper grade elementary school students ages 11-13 to focus on reading, writing, grammar, and other skills to expand students’ knowledge utilization and English language acquisition.


MIP (Middle school Intensive Program)

This course is designed specifically for middle school students who wish to enhance their skills and gain a stronger foundation in preparation for the various types of questions they will encounter in high school.

 

Immersion Track: Top-level English courses for bilingual learners

 

RB (Rainbow Bridge)


The program is for kindergarten children ages 5-7 that combines personality education and bilingual acquisition according to the developmental characteristics of pre-school children. It is an integrated learning in all areas, including physical, exercise, communication, social relations, art experience, and nature exploration.


SAP (Specialized Academic Program)


The program is a special in-depth course for the lower grades of elementary school ages 8 - 10 that teaches students who have completed the RB program to have creative and critical thinking skills, free expression of opinions, as well as strategic learning skills.


ASN (Alpha, Sigma, Nu)


The program is an immersive course for upper grade elementary school students ages 11 and above, who have already fluent in English, abundant background knowledge, and basic thinking skills. They learn specialized program through debates and presentations.
