Job Description START DATE: JUNE 23rd, 2025 MONDAY Now Hiring: Elementary & Middle School Teachers Positions Available: Elementary Department: Grade 1 Lower Elementary Teacher Middle School Department: Social Studies & English Teacher Benedem Education of Seoul is seeking dedicated, student-centered educators to join our dynamic international school community. We are hiring full-time teaching positions in both our elementary and middle school divisions. Key Responsibilities Instruction & Classroom Leadership Elementary: Teach core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) to Grade 1 students. Middle: Teach Social Studies and English across Grades 5–8 (MS Department) Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, especially for ELLs. Foster a classroom environment rooted in inquiry, empathy, and student voice. Integrate SEL into daily routines and academic content. Assessment & Feedback Use assessments to track student growth and guide instructional planning. Provide clear, constructive feedback. Reflect on student performance data to refine teaching approaches. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) & Student Well-Being Lead homeroom or advisory periods with structured SEL activities. Promote emotional intelligence, community-building, and self-awareness. Approaches to Learning (IB PYP, MYP-aligned) We seek educators who teach and model ATL skills: Thinking, Communication, Social, Self-Management, and Research Skills. Collaboration & Professional Growth Communicate regularly with families about student progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum and planning. Participate in PD workshops and ongoing training. Engage in school-wide events and teacher reflection practices. Additional Duties Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions. Lead at least one after-school club or enrichment class/club Support events like Open Houses and Parent-Teacher Conferences (2 times per year).
