Ellin Bucheon is an English immersion academy located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, offering engaging programs for kindergarten and elementary students. Sharing the core vision and proven educational system of EL Ellin (founded in Ilsan in 2009), our guiding philosophy is:

“Don’t learn English, learn in English.”

Our classrooms are built around conversation. Teachers ask plenty of questions, give children time to think, and invite them to interact and respond to one another. In a science lesson, you might ask, “What do you think will happen?” and test their ideas together. During a story discussion, you might ask, “What makes you think that?” giving children the space and encouragement to explain their reasoning in natural English.

We are looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy that kind of interactive, back-and-forth communication. We want children to ask their own questions, explore ideas, and collaborate with their teachers and peers to find answers. As their confidence grows, students transition from brief answers to expressing complex thoughts in complete sentences. In our elementary program, students strengthen this foundation through project-based learning, literature discussions, and expressive writing.

Our teaching team currently features four native English-speaking teachers, including experienced educators who have been with us for over three years. Because we share the identical curriculum, textbooks, and detailed lesson guides with our Ilsan campus, new teachers benefit from a structured, dependable system while working alongside supportive Korean co-teachers and bilingual staff.

Our leadership team believes in close, empathetic support for every teacher. When challenges arise in the classroom, we take an active listening approach—asking what’s happening, discussing practical solutions together, and adapting where needed. We value open dialogue and actively seek our teachers' voices in decisions that shape daily classroom life.
