TOPLUS is an English education company in Korea providing structured English learning programs for children and students through a growing network of academies. TOPLUS aims to create meaningful English-learning experiences that go beyond memorizing vocabulary and grammar. We believe effective English education should help students communicate confidently, think creatively, and develop the skills they need for their future. Through curriculum, educational content, academy partnerships, and continuous development, TOPLUS strives to create a stronger English education environment for students across Korea. 1. Responsibilities Overview At TOPLUS, teachers play an important role in creating a fun, engaging, and supportive English-learning environment for our students. As a TOPLUS English Teacher, you will: Teach English classes to young learners and elementary students Follow the TOPLUS curriculum and lesson plans Create fun and engaging lessons that encourage students to participate Help students build confidence in speaking and using English Encourage students’ curiosity, creativity, and communication skills Monitor students’ progress and provide positive feedback Build warm and supportive relationships with students Communicate and collaborate with fellow teachers and academy staff Participate in teacher training, meetings, and school activities when required Most importantly, we are looking for teachers who enjoy working with children and want to make English learning a positive and rewarding experience. 2. What you’ll teach Structured, in-house curriculum. Toplus publishes its own textbooks: the TOPPING series (28 levels, elementary) and 4 in 2 (12 levels, middle school). Expect to teach from set materials rather than build every lesson from scratch. Speaking focus. The program promotes an ESL and EFL blended approach and a Smart Speaking Practice component, so teacher-led conversation matters. Level-based classes. New students take a level test and are placed by ability, so you’ll usually have a more even range in the room. More than textbook time. Students take part in English book-report contests, the NEPT national proficiency test, and overseas study programs (a recent UK trip ran 17 nights). Middle school classes also cover school-exam prep. 3. Working Conditions TOPLUS provides a supportive teaching environment where teachers can focus on what they do best — creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students. Working Hours: Monday–Friday 1:30 - 9:30 P.M. Curriculum: A structured TOPLUS curriculum with teaching materials and lesson guidance provided, with a strong focus on speaking and listening skills. Help students build confidence in everyday English communication. Student Type: Elementary & Middle school students Special Events: Occasional school events, activities, and special programs Korean Teacher Support: Work alongside a Korean teacher who can assist with classroom management, communication, and day-to-day support.
