Part-time Native English Teacher

Sue7531&PAMUS English Academy is looking for a bright, energetic, and fun-loving part-time Native English Teacher to join our team! If you love playing games, getting kids excited about speaking English, and prefer a teaching environment with minimal micromanagement, this is the perfect position for you. About Us Located in Saesol-dong, Hwaseong-si (conveniently close to Ansan), we are a well-established academy with over 5 years of history. We offer classes in Math, English, Korean, and Science, with a strong focus on our Math department. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of 10 teachers (3 English, 5 Math, 1 Korean, and 1 Science). We also operate two academy shuttle buses for student convenience. Who We Are Looking For Young, bright, and enthusiastic: You should genuinely enjoy being around children and know how to make learning fun. Independent: We will provide you with the overall teaching direction, but we will not micromanage you. You will have the freedom to run your classroom in a way that gets the kids speaking and engaged. Target Students: Elementary students (Grade 2 to Grade 5). Their current English level is not very high, so your primary goal is to build their confidence and get them talking through fun activities. Job Details & Compensation Pay: 30,000 KRW per hour. Working Days: 2 days a week. (We strongly prefer Wednesdays and Fridays, but the exact days are negotiable). Class Sizes: Very small (ranging from 1 to 9 students per class), making classroom management incredibly easy and low-stress. Class Schedule & Teaching Style Wednesdays (Speaking & Games focus) On Wednesdays, there is no set textbook. You will prepare your own fun speaking activities and games to get the students talking. 3:00 PM ~ 3:50 PM: Elementary Grade 5 (9 students) 3:50 PM ~ 4:40 PM: Elementary Grade 5 (4 students) Fridays (PAMUS English Curriculum focus) On Fridays, you will teach using the PAMUS English franchise manual. You will use a PC and a beam projector to display materials on the board. The program is extremely easy to use—you just need to click a few buttons in order! (We will provide a training video for the manual, and you can also check the PAMUS English website). 2:10 PM ~ 3:00 PM: Elementary Grade 2 (1 student) 3:00 PM ~ 3:25 PM: Elementary Grade 3 (6 students) 3:25 PM ~ 3:50 PM: Elementary Grades 3~5 (4 students) 3:50 PM ~ 4:40 PM: Elementary Grades 4~5 (6 students) Location 7th Floor, 160 Sunoeuljungang-ro, Saesol-dong, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
