Welcome to Iya Skola Ulsan!

We are inspired by the holistic teachings of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, who believed that true education touches the mind, the body, and the heart. His belief in developing the “head, heart, and hands” forms the foundation of our approach: nurturing critical thinking, physical exploration, and emotional awareness in tandem.

Our early childhood program is carefully crafted to serve the developmental needs of pre-K to kindergarten learners. Through imaginative play, nature-based experiences, and a rich sensory environment, we introduce young children to school in a way that feels natural, joyful, and empowering.

Our campus is a brand under IYA Edu., an education company built on the expertise of industry pioneers working together to shape the future of education.

Curriculum and Programs

Using self-developed “Rhizome Approach” method, our curriculum (3-7Y) aims to connect 6 main subjects (story, design, symphony, empathy, play, meaning) and develop the 4Cs (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication).

i English: An immersive program rooted in global standards, focusing on phonics, reading, and communication through play.

  • Uses in-house textbooks and materials based on over 20 years of education research.

i Discussion: Fosters logical thinking and expressive confidence through structured discussions, storytelling, and reading. Our library program enhances language comprehension with engaging story-based activities.

i Creative Math: Introduces core math concepts through playful, hands-on activities that build logical reasoning and mathematical foundation.

i Science: Understand scientific principles through exploration-based learning encouraging students to observe and ask questions.

i Four C: Builds Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking through theme-based projects that encourage teamwork and independence.

i STEAM: Cross-disciplinary program combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
