Basic Requirements

 

  • Bring excitement to English education with an engaging and creative teaching approach for kindergarten and young learners

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Must be eligible for an E-2 visa (citizenship from the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa) or hold an F visa (resident)
  • Apostilled diploma and criminal background check
  • Clean health assessment
  • Teaching experience with children preferred
  • Teaching license/certification preferred

 

Hiring Period & Procedure

 

  • We are always on the lookout for passionate teachers, with positions available year-round across our six campuses in Korea.
  • Application Screening: We assess applications to check whether candidates meet our required qualifications.

  • Interview Stage: Shortlisted applicants will take part in an interview to assess their teaching style and alignment with our school's values.

  • Job Offer & Confirmation: Candidates who successfully pass the interview will receive an offer and receive training. 

 

 

Teacher Training & Workshops

 

  • Our teacher training program covers professional mindset development, foundational training for new teachers, and in-depth instruction on our emotional and multiple intelligence-based curriculum. Teachers also receive guidance on child development, classroom management, safety, and parent communication to create a positive and effective learning environment.

    Our quarterly Wiz TQC (Teacher’s Qualification Course) is led by experienced professionals, and our tiered certification system ensures teachers are well-prepared to deliver WizIsland’s specialized early childhood education programs.

Kindergarten English Teachers for WizIsland / All Campuses in Korea!

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students and teach a few elementary classes in the afternoon. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students • Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Add your own activities to help students learn better • Meet learning goals and track student improvement • Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute • Actively engage students in the learning process. • Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3.
