Welcome to LATT!

As the CEO of LATT, I take great pride in our rich history and ongoing commitment to education. Our school traces its origins to the LATT Language Institute, founded by Mrs. G.K. Ferra in 1966. Through our affiliated organizations—including LATT Children’s Theater, LATT Children’s English Center, and LATT English Culture Center—LATT has consistently offered a wide range of services focused on children’s English education. Since 2010, LATT has continued this mission, providing fun and enriching learning experiences designed for children ages 3 to 7.

Our Curriculum and Programs

Our curriculum fosters development across five essential areas: language, cognition, physical growth, emotional well-being, and social skills. It features two core programs: the Theme-Based Program, which delves into diverse topics, and the Booster Program, which cultivates creativity and individual talents.

Toddler Program (3Y): Engage with various themed activities (language, art, music, physical education, science, and ecology), helping learners become familiar with English.
  • Classes: Baby Reading, Clay Art, Baby Ballet, Role-play, Music Story, etc

Pre-K Program (4Y): Continue building on communication, social skills, creativity, and physical development through activities.

  • Classes: Manners, Song & Chant, LATT Literacy, Motion Play, Field Trip, etc.

Textbooks & Resources: LATT uses in-house textbooks developed by our parent company, Tuntun English, which has a long history of pioneering English education in Korea, with textbooks co-authored in the late 1980s by Mrs. G.K. Ferra.

Teaching Structure

Each class will have a bilingual Korean co-teacher working alongside the native teacher, with both sharing responsibility for leading the lessons.  For the toddler (3Y) program, the homeroom and assistant teachers will all be Korean.

Lesson Planning Teachers primarily follow lesson plans and instructional materials given by our staff but have the flexibility to add activities and supplementary materials.

Kindergarten Program (5-7Y): Designed according to international curriculum standards, fostering creative and logical thinking through academic-based activities.

  • Thematic Exploration: Each month, students engage with themes and reflect on them, fostering curiosity and independent thinking.

  • Writing: Through brainstorming and writing activities, students learn to organize and express their thoughts, encouraging them to think critically and creatively.

  • Presentations: Students present in front of the class to develop confidence in public speaking.

After-school Programs: Include classes in Science, Math, English Cooking, Art, Reading, Debate, English Ballet, Fun English, Sports, Taekwondo, and K-Pop Dance
