Position Opening: Middle and High School Math Teacher School Year: 2025–2026 Location: SSI Busan, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea SSI Busan is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year. We are looking for a passionate educator who can deliver high-quality instruction, foster critical thinking, and help students build strong mathematical foundations in preparation for university and beyond. About SSI Busan SSI Busan is a growing international college-preparatory school that provides an American curriculum with a strong focus on academic excellence, global citizenship, and individualized support. Key Responsibilities Teach a full-time course load in high school mathematics, which may include Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, or AP Statistics Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans Provide meaningful feedback and support to guide student learning Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and interdisciplinary initiatives Participate in school life through advisory, extracurricular activities, and events Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred) Valid teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or AP setting Experience with AP Calculus and/or AP Statistics is strongly preferred Ability to use data and differentiated strategies to support diverse learners Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills Commitment to student well-being and holistic education Why SSI Busan?
