ESL Teachers Wanted at Lastella Academy in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul / Mar. 2024

1. Role and Responsibilities You will be a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten students. You will follow the school’s curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students. You will be responsible for the following: • Teaching phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills • Singing, dancing roleplaying, and creating art with students • Following a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep • Adding your own activities to help students learn better • Meeting learning goals and tracking student improvement • Attending meetings, workshops, and special events mandated by the institute • Actively engaging students in the learning process. • Recognizing the needs of individual students and the entire class. 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must; • Be a Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Hold or be eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Provide an Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week
