Curriculum/Program

LSP's Early Childhood Education Program is based on the Montessori approach, which is currently highly regarded in the United States, and the Common Core Standards, which are rooted in a literary approach. The program incorporates more than 70 literary books in various subject areas such as science, mathematics, literature, history, sociology, and art. The expression and developmental processes align with Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory. Furthermore, LSP focuses on providing early language education within the framework of a "school," rather than a traditional tutoring approach, to ensure an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.

The literary works covered in the Common Core include fables, poems, folktales, myths, fantasies, dramas, scientific literature, historical literature, social literature, and biographies, all of which are award-winning works in American children's literature. In the science domain, students learn about the human senses, nutrition, digestion, bacteria, health practices, muscles, bones, nerve tissues, circulation, and respiratory functions in a simplified manner. In the math domain, they learn about numbers, mathematical reasoning, geometry, and quantity graphs.

As part of the regular curriculum, we organize drama performances related to English literature once a semester, which cultivate students' artistic abilities, speech skills, and confidence, providing them with a sense of great achievement. Additionally, LSP has basketball teams (Seocho Campus) and soccer teams (Suji/Jukjeon Campus), which are renowned clubs. These sports activities, along with promoting confidence and a sense of belonging, fulfill the essential criteria for global leadership.

LSP's greatest pride lies in the consistent implementation of education in areas such as Common Core, STE@M, Character Foundation, Volunteer activities, drama, sports teams, symphony, and choir throughout the international school, from kindergarten to grade 12. Through age-appropriate and developmentally aligned education effects, stability, educational philosophy, and vision, students grow into authentic individuals with a unified personality.
