CLS' Mission and Vision is to make the best efforts to build the foundations of long term English development. In the new global era, English is very important for all fields of study. Often, even with the opportunity to talk with native English speakers, it is difficult to use the English you’ve learned. Our children receive very unique and fun English language training. It is very important to implement a language curriculum thorough fun educational methods. We hope that our students at CLS will study hard and be recognized by the international community, led by our instructors and staff.

 

Our Programs
Our classes cover language arts, public speaking, cooking, arts and crafts, physical education, group activities, and science. There are also special field trips where students explore a variety of new activities and experiences.

Branch and Location

We're located in Yeungdeungpo, which is in the center of Seoul on Yeouido Island. The closest subway station is Yeouido, just 20 minutes from Hongdae Station and 30 minutes from Gangnam Station. Yeouido is located right next to the Han River and you can enjoy eating chicken and beer at the Yeouido Han River Park, which is a hotspot in Seoul. You can easily get up to trendy Hongdae and also Myeongdong Shopping Street as well as Dongdaemun.

1. Roles and Responsibilities As a kindergarten and elementary teacher at CLS, you will be responsible for teaching English to young learners through a variety of special classes including Language Arts, Speech Contest/Show and Tell, Play Facto, Exploratory Class, Craft and Drawing, Action and Play, Cooking Class, and Group Project. Teachers are usually responsible for specific grades. You will be responsible for the following: •Teach basic to advanced reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar to students •Teach phonics, speech, vocab, language arts, science and social studies, debate, TOEFL/SAT prep, newspaper review, and book discussion •Follow the American curriculum and create supportive lesson plans based on our curriculum •Grade homework, reports, and essays •Update parents regarding student progress 2. Candidate Qualifications • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Teaching experience in South Korea at Kindergarten & Elementary student level • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Students type: Kindergarten & Elementary • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:10 A.M. - 5:10 P.M. or 8:50 A.M. - 5:50 P.M. • Lunch Hour: Teachers do not have to eat with students • Teaching Hours: 30 classes per week
