At SIE, our mission is to prepare our students to be globally minded with a full and balanced education. We foster a global mindset in our curriculum by adopting Common Core State Standards and immersive English learning, encouraging multi-language fluency, and incorporate Korean culture into learning activities. We aim to help our students grow and mature physically, artistically, mentally, and spiritually in a holistic manner by providing opportunities and challenges to promote well-rounded learning experience.
We are looking to add teaching faculty for our 2022-2023 school year. Currently, we are seeking elementary homeroom teachers and middle/high school subject teachers. Please send your CV, photo, and cover letter to careers@sieusa.org
Working Conditions
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:40pm
About 25 50-minute classes a week
Some Lunch and Recess Supervision Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Have expert knowledge of the subject area
- Plan, prepare and conduct the assigned courses and lectures at the scheduled times
- Record, evaluate and communicate students’ performances in an objective, fair and timely manner
- Comply with policies, standards, rules, regulations and procedures of the institution
- Model honesty, good social skills, civic responsibility, fairness and ethical conduct
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and staff
- Participation in school events and school club activities
Qualifications
- At least a BA or BS in the respective subject with a teaching certificate or master's degree
- F2,F4,F5,F6 visa holder or be a Korean national
- Fluent in English, Native level
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in teaching in a classroom setting
Compensation and Benefit
- Annual Salary: Negotiable (based primarily on education and years of experience)
- Korean National Health Insurance (50/50)
